This is a very appealing subject. Through the concepts you put forth, I realized I have been immersed in group process for decades. Having a natural leadership ability I embrace, I have been at the center of numerous groups which have complex group processes and have done some study of the subject. The meta-view of group process you are creating promises to reveal useful insight when applied. About me:
Father and coparent, Musician
Microelectronic technical marketing engineer, ex-Intel
Civic leader in land use and human services
Rental property management
More about me:
For the last 10 years, I have been deeply involved in civic leadership, mainly by chairing the Washington County, OR Citizen's Participation Organization #1 - CPO 1. www.cpo1friends.org. My leadership is much appreciated by the community for which I am grateful. I have an outstanding relationship with the county commissioners and staff, for example having been asked to be the citizen rep in interview panels for new personnel. I am on the steering committee of the CPO leadership group (14 CPOs total).
I was president of the Findley Elementary School PTO for 2 productive years, 1999-2000. Presently pursuing a food security initiative in the county. I also host a weekly music gathering at my house.
I was involved in the development of The Listening Cards, containing the do's and dont's of intentional listening. We gave workshops and classes illustrating various elements of listening. (I am no longer associated with the product.) I consider my self to be an effective listener.
