The following renaming issues are still open:
- Tree wants to think about and propose a few more renamings to put the key word of the name first, and to make some names more evocative/poetic without sacrificing clarity (we will discuss these if/when she makes such proposals)
- Tree might want to revisit Improvise

- Multiple Modes to Mode Choice
Punctuation changes in names:
- Nooks in Space (and Time) to Nooks in Space and Time
- Reflection-Action Cycle to Reflection/Action Cycle (NB: may be an issue with / in pattern name in wagn)
Changing gerunds (-ing words) to verbs in pattern names:
- Valuing the Margins to Value the Margins
- Dwelling with Emotions to Dwell with Emotions
- Time-Shifting to Time Shift
- Witnessing with Compassion to Witness with Compassion (NB: small w in 'with')
- Informing the Group Mind to Inform the Group Mind
- Taking Responsibility to Take Responsibility
- Generating Possibilities to Generate Possibilities
- Balancing Structure and Flexibility to Balance Structure and Flexibility
- Balancing Process and Content to Balance Process and Content

(NB: 18 other gerunds in other pattern names were not changed, after consideration of each)
Note that possible pattern merges were not discussed on this call and at this stage there is no definitive plan to consider them before publication of the deck, so the total pattern count remains at 91
POSSIBLE MERGES
1. Deliberate as part of Reflection-Action Cycle with a bit of Seasoned Timing and perhaps Rest thrown in
2. Go Meta and to some extent Go Deeper are part of Seeing the Forest, Seeing the Trees
3. Is Fractal part of Seeing the Forest, Seeing the Trees?
4. Value the Margins is kinda part of Unity and Diversity
5. Discharging and Dwell with Emotions
6. Group Culture is part of History and Context
7. Listening similar to Witness with Compassion, comes up all the time in doing related patterns
8. Ritual is to some extent a mode choice
9. Playfulness seems like another mode choice, or a quality to be brought in to whatever process
10. Is Mapping and Measurement part of Harvesting?
11. Celebrate is an event expressing Appreciation
(dave sez: I think we've talked about all of these at one time or another, and i'm not persuaded any of these are appropriate, though I'm most open to #5 and #1.)
